Preserve Washburn County (PWC) needs your help!
We need volunteers willing to partner with PWC to ensure county rules for campgrounds are updated to protect you and your family, our neighborhoods and communities, and the economic and environmental well-being of Washburn County.
With a 10-member Ad-Hoc committee and only three months to revise campground rules, we need at least thirty volunteers to engage directly with committee members. Together, we can have an impact on the outcome.
As a PWC Partner, you commit to connecting personally with an assigned Ad Hoc Campground Ordinance Review Committee member. Over the next three months you would:
Attend at least 2-3 committee meetings in person.
Chat with and meet with your committee member one-on-one.
Learn where your committee member stands on campground issues.
PWC will coach you and accompany you throughout this process. We'll set you up for success!
